After Effects Workshop

Two upperclassman members of DADA, Jessica Le and Emily Hargis, will be demonstrating the basic functions of Adobe After Effects. This workshop will include a PDF with helpful information, and the opportunity to follow along with the demonstration! If you plan on following along, please make sure to download After Effects ahead of time (if you do not already have it) and also download the images needed for the demonstration here. You can also find the instructional PDF at the previous link.

The Workshop will be held in Room 330 of the Art Building at 1 o’clock PM on Friday February 3rd.


Turbo Squid Modeling Workshop

Three TurboSquid employees are offering their time and expertise to our eager Digital Art students! A workshop will be held in room 330 of the Art Building at 12 o’clock PM on Thursday, January 19th. Ben Bickle will be discussing “Low Poly 3D Modeling for Games”, Kate Voisin will be discussing “Form Over Function: Impractical 3D Modeling for Illustrators, and Bob Martin will be discussing “How to Meet Your Deadline Without Going Mad: Efficient Animation for Aspiring Filmmakers”.

All of these talks include valuable information that will be helpful in the upcoming Game Jam (January 20th) and Animation Jam (March 31), so be sure to come out!
